He has been hired by a drug lord Armando Barillo to assassinate Mexico’s President and overthrow the government.

El Mariachi takes the job because of his personal feud with General Emiliano Marquez, as the General took the life of Carolina and his daughter. Another former operative tag Billy Chambers who is an American fugitive got weary and tired of all the dirty business. Now, he has to take care of Barillo in exchange for protection.
